Curatorial talk - "Percussion cap to bolt-action"
The Memorial’s Senior Curator and Historian, Brad Manera will describe the firearms used by New South Wales soldiers who served in the New Zealand land wars (1860s) through to the Korean War (1950 – 53).
He will demonstrate how these weapons work and are maintained explaining the significance of many of the objects on display in the Centenary Exhibition. Mr Manera will also share insightful details from the battlefields honoured in the floor of the Hall of Service.
