Highlights Tour
Discover the stunning Art Deco architecture and commemorative symbolism behind the Anzac Memorial with a free one-hour guided highlights tour.
Explore the Memorial’s architectural design that dates back to the 1930s, the more recent award-winning Centenary Extension commemorating over 100 years of service, and the significance of the Memorial’s many incredible sculptural features. It is an unforgettable way to experience the Anzac Memorial. Morning tours also include the daily Service of Remembrance at 11am.
The tour is perfect for individuals or small groups under 10 people.
Bookings are recommended but not essential.
Group details: Maximum of 9 people per booking. For larger group bookings, of 10 or more, please request a Community Group Tour.
Tickets: Free
Program times: Highlights Tours take place every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday at 10am and Saturdays at 1pm, departing from the Shop on the Ground Floor, near the Western (Elizabeth Street) Entrance.
Program duration: 60 minutes.
Community Group Tour
Join us to discover the meaning of sacrifice to generations past and present by delving deeper into the art, architecture, and history of the Anzac Memorial. Take this opportunity for your group to learn about the intent of New South Wales’ principal memorial which was designed to express the nobler attributes of human nature and the tragedy of war.
This tour is perfect for community groups, veteran organisations, and small tourist groups. Our Community Group Tours are a more detailed guided tour than our Highlights Tour. We can also offer organisations a bespoke tour experience.
Bookings are essential, with limited capacity.
Group details: Minimum of 10 people. For smaller group bookings we encourage you to book a spot on our Highlights Tour.
Tickets: Free, however group bookings over 24 people may incur a small fee to cover the extra staffing requirements.
Program times: At group discretion, subject to availability.
Program duration: 90 minutes.

Twilight Tour
Our Twilight Tours are the newest tour offering, allowing visitors to delve deeper into the history and architecture of the Anzac Memorial in a unique, after-hours experience.
Commencing with an overview of the history of this remarkable Art Deco building, you will have the opportunity to have an up close view of ‘Sacrifice’ and learn why the recumbent form of an Anzac, whose soul has passed to the Great Beyond, is held aloft by his best beloved. Pause and reflect on the geographical reach of the call to serve and the enormity of sacrifice across generations in the Hall of Service.
Bookings are essential, with limited capacity.
Group details: Maximum of 9 people per booking.
Tickets: $30 plus booking fee per person

Please arrive via the Liverpool Street entrance at 5.45pm for a 6.00pm start. The tour will conclude at 7.30pm.

Schools wishing to visit the Memorial on a self-guided basis should contact us ahead of time and make a booking so that our staff can avoid overcrowding and coordinate self-guided visits with existing bookings.
